Aroma Therapy

Using oils from herbs and other aromatic plants can help achieve relaxation or obtain relief from a disorder.

Depending on the plant, the aromatic or essences of the oil is extracted from the leaves, flowers, roots, seeds, fruit, bark or resin, then diluted with water or unscented oil such as jo-joba. The resulting compound is then massaged into the skin, inhaled from steam, added to bath water or used as a compress.
